PRI is having an Ultra Centrifugal Mill from Retsch Model ZM 300. This is type of rotor mill having Push-fit rotor of stainless steel with 12 teeth, which is used for high-speed size reduction of soft to medium-hard as well as temperature-sensitive or fibrous materials. This is having a variable speed from 6,000 to 23,000 rpm allows for gentle, neutral-to-analysis sample preparation in a very short time. The instrument is equipped with an integrated temperature monitoring system, for better reproducibility for long grinding processes or pulverization of large sample volumes. The fineness is desired by the aperture size of the ring sieves which are ranging from 0.08 to 10 mm. about 80 % of the sample is about half the size of the aperture size of the selected sieve after grinding.
