Glass reactors are the used when the chemical reaction require chemical inertness, corrosion resistance, control over temperature and stirring, and reactions involve low volatiles or reflux condensations. Prevest Research Institute is having dedicated jacketed glass reactors of different capacity for different chemical processes. The system is having heating and cooling bath circulators for controlling the reaction temperature and the magnetic coupled stirrer helps for agitation. These reactors are also fitted with condenser and funnels for adding reactants during the process. The reactors are made from Borosilicate 3.3 glass and can with stand temperature from -50°C to +200°C.
